Private Chauffeur and Guide Shannon West of Ireland

Today i spoke with a friend in the USA whose daughter is coming to Ireland to study for a year. He wanted to know if i could take him and his wife and the daughter around for a few days if they came over sometime during the period she is studying here. He was delighted when i told him that i actually get quiet a few people doing just that in the off-season and that i would love to make myself available for them. This is not new to me and when this happens it really is a great opportunity for people to come visit their offspring and to give them the chance to see a little of the country also while they are studying here. The student will otherwise maybe just get to know only the locality where they are studying and never get around to get a broader view of the country. It is also a welcome break for them from their studies and everybody ends up happy. It does not really matter to me where the student is based as i can start my tour anywhere in the country and end it back in the same place if that is what they want. Our Winters are not that severe either and sometimes they might be even better than our Summers. Touring in the off-season can be lovely as it is quieter and easier to get around with very few tourists on view. Maybe something for some of you to think about if you have somebody coming my way.
I am still busy and my season has a couple of months to run yet as i can be busy up to the end of October. These months are often busy because flights are cheaper and prices in general are down a bit. The Autumn months can be lovely in Ireland and the weather can be mild and pleasant. You can never say that it will be dry here but we do get a lot of lovely weather...you just cannot predict when it will arrive. We have had our share of rain lately so i think we are overdue some nice weather soon. This private driver and guide is available in all kinds of weather so just give me a call if you need me. Talk to you again soon.

Touring Ireland West

I am often asked what exactly is my favourite part of Ireland. What a difficult question to answer. I suppose it would be easier for me to answer what region of the country would i like best and that i have no doubt about. The Western seaboard is where i like to concentrate my tours eventhough as a tour guide and private driver i will always go where my clients want me to take them. My first preference is to spend most of my time in rural areas. All along the west coast from the south west tip to the top of Donegal you have the rugged Atlantic coastline and this is where you will find the most spectacular scenery. The mountain ranges provide a background to the nearly always cloudy skies and the many islands offshore add to the beauty of the coastline. The white sandy beaches are many and to the surprise of many visitors swimming is a great pastime for the Irish. Tourists take one look at the ocean and shiver but the truth of the matter is that our waters are lovely in the Summertime. This of course is due to the Gulf Stream which flows just offshore here in the Atlantic and keeps our waters nice and warm. Even the vegetation along the western seabord bears testament to this as there is such an abundance of floral growth in this region including Palm trees and Rhododendrons and Montbretia and many more tropical type plants. If you do like swimming i would strongly recommend that you bring your swim suits with you and have a dip while you are here. As kids we swam all the Summer long and loved every minute of it. I still do have my swim anytime i get the chance and my wife is a real fan of the ocean. Also the west is the least populated region and therefore it is a much more peaceful place to tour. Many of my clients will sepnd a couple of days in Dublin at either the begining of their tour or at the end and Dublin is well worth a visit. I could go on and make reference to many other areas in the country where there is much to se but that is for another time. Our island is just one picture of beauty.
I have this weekend free and intend to relax a little. Relaxing for me will be catching up on a few things like my garden. This chauffeur/guide always seems to have things to do but i never like being idle.
I would like to send my regards to all of my friends who have toured with me recently and hope that they are settled down at home once again. Despite the gloom and doom of recession i have to say honestly that i cannot complain this year as it has been good for me. I still have vacancies for September and October so if you are thinking about a holiday why not come my way. I would love to see you.

Private driver/chauffeur Shannon Airport

Well today i bade farewell to my two ladies after a very exciting and fruitful few days. We visited Connemara today taking in Kylemore Abbey and the lovely town of Clifden. The weather held up for us once again and we had sunshine most of the time with no rain at all. The journey on the Sky road at Clifden was spectacular in the sunshine and the wind on the ocean made for spectacular sea-views as the waves broke over the islands offshore. The countryside looked really lovely and the ladies enjoyed the shopping opportunities as we made our way through the lovely mountains of Connemara. Now they will be on their way to Dublin next where they are to meet up for the first time on Friday with a cousin that they never knew they had. She is just as excited as they are and she is also going to give them contact details of more of their newly discovered relatives in the USA. I really do feel that i played my part in this and i know that they are truly grateful to me for making the break through for them. Now i have a couple of days to relax and get some other jobs done. I will be updating here so stay tuned in.

Chauffeurdrive in West of Ireland

Well my latest tour is underway and what a wonderful start we made today. My companions, two lovely sisters from New York, have been trying to locate their ancestral home for the past fifteen years. Today, at last, they finally arrived home. Eileen had sent me a phone number that she acquired from a telephone book and last week, before they arrived in Ireland, i called the number. It turned out to be in an area on the borders of Roscommon and Mayo. The lady i spoke to confirmed that eventhough their name was Jennings, we had the wrong Jennings. She told me that she had married into a Jennings family but that her mother-in-law would know a lot more about any other families by the same name in that area. She told me that her mother-in-law lived with them in a granny flat with her husband and she said that she could bring the phone to her. I had some details of Eileen and Kathleen's Great-grand parents and as i related them to this elderly lady Nora, she told me that we were in the right place. Her family were not related to the Jennings family that we were looking for but they were neighbours many years ago. She told me that she had been in their house on many occasions as a child and remembered their Grand-mother well. I asked her if she would allow us to visit when the ladies arrived and she agreed. Today, that was where we went. What a wonderful day we had. Not only did we get a real run-down on the family history but her son walked the land with us to the remains of three old houses which the family had lived in a different times. They were now just ruins and had been used as sheds for the cattle since the family left. The land and the old houses had been sold by the remaining living members of the family who had stayed in Ireland. Standing in these old homes with no windows, and roofs that were falling down, was a moving experience for the ladies and we took a lot of photos. We also were able to take a few small stones from the walls of the old houses as souvenirs for the ladies to bring home to the USA. Before we came here today the old lady Nora had given me a phone number of one of their cousins who was living in Dublin. Last night we called her and she is going to meet the ladies when they get to Dublin at the weekend. She was equally excited and i can only imagine what that reunion will be like. Eileen kept saying that this was the best day of her life and i was so happy for her and Kathleen. The Jennings family that we visited today treated us as though they were real cousins and they made us feel so welcome. Nora and her husband live in the same house as their son and his family. The granny flat part is really lovely and they are so well looked after by their daughter-in-law Ann who is a really lovely girl. The area they live in is remote and one can only imagine what terrible conditions the family lived in back in the eighteen hundreds. No wonder they had to emigrate. Today they have more opportunities and they do not depend on the land as they did then. Tom is a carpenter and it is easy to see that they are able to make ends meet as their house is lovely and they all look very happy. Our time with them today was so nice and it only reaffirms in me just how warm and friendly Irish country people are. No matter how little they have they would always share it with you. I know that our visit with them today was not an imposition and that they were just as excited to see us as we were to see them. I know that it is something that people from other countries find hard to understand but that is the way we are here. Yes, the Irish are a lovely friendly people, and long may it last.

Busy private chauffeur/driver and guide in West of Ireland

What a busy weekend i have had. We left Killarney behind on Saturday morning on what was to be our final day together. The sun was shining and the skies were blue as we crossed the mighty Shannon river estuary from Tarbert into county Clare. This is a lovely crossing and takes just about twenty minutes.
We then made our way up along the west coast to Lahinch and on to the mighty cliffs of Moher. The sky began to cloud over but the weather held for us and light rain just began to fall as we started our walk back down from the cliff tops. Mt friends loved every minute of this adventure and it really is a spectacular place to visit. From here we began the final leg of our journey into the city of Galway where my new friends were to spend the final couple of days in the West of Ireland. Parting is always sad and that is the way i felt as i said by goodbyes to Bill and his wife Pam and their two lovely youngs adult offspring Will and Jessica. This was another wonderful tour and i am always pleased when i have people with me who have a great time. I know that they will stay in touch with me and they have very kindly offered to communicate with anybody who may wish to ask them about their tour with me. It is always nice for me to get back home ans my wife Sue was delighted to have me back for the weekend. Yesterday (Sunday) i met up with my next touring companions, two sisters from New York who are all excited about their visit to trace their ancestral roots here in the West. I will tell you more about this later..... and this also is an exciting story. Now i better get ready to begin this new adventure.

The Dingle Peninsula

I have had many strange and wonderful experiences in assisting my travelling companions with their search for ancestral roots. Yesterday i was to have another. The other day, Pam, the mother in my present group, had produced a photo of a lady standing beside one of the ancient beehive huts on the Dingle peninsula. She told me that this photo of her grand-cousin had been taken 37 years ago when this lady visited the area. Eventhough the photo showed just the lady and the beehive hut with very little background, i instantly felt that i recognised this particular beehive hut. The only thing that bothered me was that it showed the gable end of a shed to one side. This i did not recall and it left me with some doubt. Bearing in mind that there are hundreds of these huts in the Dingle area the chances of me being presented with a photo of one that i immediately recognised were slim but i told her that i felt maybe i could bring her to the exact spot. Needless to say this was a stroke of unbelievable luck for this lady, or was it just luck?
The sun broke through as we left Killarney on our way to Dingle. I felt excited myself but the lingering doubt about the gable end of that shed was still on my mind. Inch strand was magnificent in the sunshine and Dingle town with its wonderful harbour was also at its loveliest. We were all focused on what lay ahead at Slea Head where my beehive hut was situated. There are various groups of beehive huts along this route to Slea Head but my favourite ones are on the land owned by Maire Houlihan, a native Irish speaking lady. She owns the ones closest to Slea Head. She is a lovely lady and charges just Euro 2:00 for a tour of her huts and they are well worth a visit. She uses the money she collects every year to visit her family in New York. When we finally arrived at our destination i asked Pam for the photo and i made my way to the hut that i believed was the same as the one in the photo. It matched perfectly ....except for that gable end to one side. There had to be an explanation and when Maire appeared i handed her the photo and she was amazed as we explained our predicament. She laughed as she confirmed that this indeed was the exact hut and that the old shed had been knocked down many years ago.We had found our beehive. Pam of course was all excited and we got her to stand in the exact same spot for a photo shoot. Then looking at the two images, the real photo and the one on view on the digital camera, was amazing. Jessica, Pam's daughter, then stood in the same spot and we took her picture so now we had three generations all at the same beehive hut. They are to send me copies of the photos which i hope to put on my Blog at a later date.
Through a series of coincidences Pam had found what she was looking for and in a very strange and roundabout way. When her husband Bill contacted me first it was just to enquire about a transfer from Killarney to Galway....a one day job. I got back to him and made a few suggestions which he then discussed with Pam and a new plan emerged. I was now to look after them for four days and this included the day on the Dingle peninsula. There was still no talk of the photo or of the link with the beehive hut. Then the photo appeared and if that had been shown to a million other tour guides or chauffeurs i think they would not have known where it was. I am not claiming any special powers here...i am just suggesting that maybe this was no coincidence. I was the right man for the job, and just a tool, but i really do love to be used in this way.
I cannot help but feel that a times there are forces guiding us back to places that are a part of our history, places that our ancestors had longed to return to themselves but never got the chance.I know that Pam believes it now, and what a wonderful day we had in Dingle. I know that this will live in the memories of Pam and family for a long time to come.

Chauffeurdrive in West of Ireland

What a wonderful day my clients had yesterday as they took the jaunting car ride through the Gap of Dunloe. It rained and they got soaked at one stage but they loved every minute of it. The boat ride back to Killarney across the lake was another memorable experience and the tour of Ross castle at the lakeside crowned it all. Last night i brought them to the Liam O'Connor show in Killarney and they were still buzzing as i left them at 11:00pm and headed off to my bed. They could not pass Sheehan's pub as the sounds of music and laughter were more attractive than the thought of this day coming to an end. That is what Ireland does to you. It just makes you want more. This morning we are on our way to the Dingle peninsula and i am sure that i will have more to report later. I am looking forward to another great day in the company of my four lovely Californians. They really are enjoyin themselves and this personal guide and driver is loving it all.

Tour Guide Shopping in Killarney

My friends headed off full of excitement for the Gap of Dunloe this morning which left me free to roam the streets of Killarney and enjoy this lovely town. Having time on my hands in a town like this can be a dangerous thing for someone like me as at this point in time the recession has resulted in wonderful shopping opportunities. I have my favourite places to shop and there are many really good shops in Killarney. My own personal favourite is Quills on the main street. The variety of goods on offer here, and the quality of these goods, make this the place to shop. You can get everything from mens and ladies fashion to sweaters , shoes and shirts, woolens , and so much more. There are many items on sale at this point in time , and at bargain prices too. I needed a nice pair of black shoes and ended up with two pairs as i could not resist the bargains on offer. I could have bought a lot more as the goods in the menswear department were really nice, but i am working on my self-control and managed to escape before i went mad altogether. I do like shopping but i am always aware that a bargain is not always something that is cheap....it is something good that is cheap, and there is a great difference. That is why i can recommend Quills without reservation. They do stock quality goods and their prices are as good as you will get. Have a look when you get to Killarney and see for yourself. It will not do any harm if you introduce yourself to Padraic Quill himself while you are there, and tell him that you are a friend of Dave Hogan the tour operator. Padraic is a really nice friendly man and he will look after you. He is what i would call "One of the old stock".
Enjoy your shopping.

Touring the South-West of Ireland

This private guide and driver is at present touring in the Cork and Kerry region and yesterday we were at the famous Blarney Castle. Kissing the Blarney stone was right up there at the top of my friends list and i could not stop them from talking afterwards. Of course i had to remind myself that that was where i got all my blarney from and indeed i had to stop going there to kiss the stone myself as i was constantly suffering from soar throats from all the exercise my tonsils were getting. Seriously though, they really did enjoy the fun of participating in this traditional practice, and where would we be if we could not have a little laugh every now and then. Today they will be heading into the Gap of Dunloe. Travelling through this place is one of the magical journeys in our lovely Emerald Isle. Their journey back to Killarney later by boat across the lake to Ross castle wll be another memorable experience. It is raining at the moment but like the true travellers that they are, they do not mind. The forecast is better as the day progresses so i expect them to enjoy some sunshine shortly. It will all be a part of the story when they return home to California.
More to follow ....so stay tuned.

Touring West of Ireland

Well this week i am on my way once again to the south west corner of Ireland as i start a new tour with a new group. This is another family group with Mom and Dad and two adult offspring. I am looking forward to it and hope that the weather is kind to us. It is nice to have good weather for a tour but it does not mean that you cannot have a good tour without good weather. I find that many people coming here from places where they get very little rain or cool weather are just as happy when they experience our Irish weather in its natural state....i.e. a mixed bag. Today was like that..some lovely sunny spells, some rain, some wind, and some sun again. It was never too hot at any time and never too cold and i spent a lot of my day in my garden making sure that it would not be overgrown when i get back. I will Blog as i go this week so for now this chauffeur and guide will take his leave. Talk to you soon .

Having your own personal chauffeur and tour guide

If you are one of the lucky people who can afford to employ your own private driver and guide when you come to Ireland then you are indeed fortunate. What better way to travel than to be able to choose your own routes and your own timetable. How fortunate you are to be able to make alterations to your daily programs as you go. If you feel tired and need a little extra sleep you can do so as long as it does not impact in any major way on your destination later that day if you have to catch a show or whatever. How fortunate you are to be in the company you choose to be in yourself. How fortunate you are to be able to spend extra time in places that you suddenly find very much to your liking instead of rushing on somewhere else. How fortunate you are to be able to eat when you like and what you like. How fortunate you are to be able to spend time in those areas your ancestors left a long time ago and when you need that time to scout around seeking information that may lead to some wonderful discoveries. This is one of the areas that i always find so rewarding, especially when you do hit the jackpot. I have two ladies coming to me the week after next from the USA who are over the moon with excitement after i was able to locate the exact spot where their Grandparents lived. The ruins of the old home are still there and i know just how much that means to these ladies. They have spent 15 years trying to find them and when they gave me a little information i was able to find the place in less than a day. They were here themselves two years ago and were unable to find anything. You could say that i was lucky maybe but then maybe i just know a little more about how to go about things over here. As long as there is some concrete information you always have a chance. I am also a great believer in what is meant to happen will happen and in this case it could not happen for two nicer ladies. Do you believe in guardian angels? Well i do.... and a little prayer does no harm to anybody.
I also have an enquiry at the moment from a couple who are coming on their honeymoon. I have had honeymooners before and what a wonderful way it is to honeymoon. You can sit back in comfort and be chauffeured around at your leisure with nothing to do other than that which you want to do yourself. Are there drawbacks? Well here are some questions i am asked that obviously bother people.

Does our driver drink or smoke?
In my case...NO

In my case also,

What am i like?
Can i tell you myself? Well..i am very friendly, knowledgeable, mature but fun-loving in an immature way (like a lot of us Irish)...always ready to help in any way i can. Flexible within reason (as long as it does not spoil your plan). I am most reliable and will not let you down. I love my country especially the rural areas and especially the western sea-board, which to me is the real Ireland, but i do cover all of the republic and there is no place like it. I have a broad understanding of our history, our political situation and our economy. I am a native Irish speaker and a republican but one who believes in a political resolution to our divided country and abhor the use of violence here or anywhere else. I have a great interest in people and love the ones who come to Ireland full of enthusiasm about their visit. Many of my fellow travellers are from the USA and i really do find them great company. Their hunger to experience the magic of just being in Ireland is unmatched by anybody from anywhere else. Many of them have Irish roots but even those who do not still seem to be carried along by whatever it is that Ireland does to your soul. I have a special personal attachment to America as we have three sons there ourselves and we do travel there to see them, and many more of our friends also. I have been in the business long enough now to have aquired many new friends in the USA and i really do treasure them all. They have all added to my life and their gratitude for whatever it was that i did for them is something that i am very grateful for. Maybe some of them make a little noise but that could be the Irish in them.I love to see people enjoying themselves and do my best to help in any way i can and this in turn helps me to be "on holiday " with them. I love music and it has always been very much a part of my life. I like to write poetry, mostly rhyme, but i do not claim to be a poet. I am a husband, a father with three sons and two daughters and a wonderful wife. I live in the countryside in rural Ireland and i have a lovely modest home, cats and chickens (which belong mostly to my neighbour) and a lovely little pony called Taffy who is spoiled rotten.

Are we going to have the driver with us all the time?

This is always a question that people find hard to ask me so i always try to refer them to someone who has travelelled with me in order to give them the opportunity to ask these kind of questions.
No...i will be with you while we tour but anytime you want a break you can have it. You could have a walk in a scenic area or a stroll through some nice little town. You could take a lunch-break or an afternoon tea or coffee somewhere. The evenings are your own and i can also take time out. I am considerate of people having time to themselves and am not offended in any way if people want to be alone.

Am i a good driver?

My record is penalty free and accident free.

Is it very expensive?

Naturally it is more expensive than a bus tour but when you consider what you are getting and the extra benefits then it is not that much more expensive. It does not cost you anything to find out.

These are some of the main queries people would have but if you have any yourself just ask me.
Now i better get back to work as there are people looking for a private driver and personal guide to take them on that journey of a lifetime through the beautiful West of Ireland.
Are you coming my way yet?

Is the worst behind us in Ireland ?

The Irish economy depends largely on our Tourist Industry and the outlook for this present season a few months ago was more than gloomy. There is no doubt that the numbers are down this year, and well down at that. The Recession has been the major influence on this, and also the value of the Dollar versus the Euro. I have been more fortunate than many other tour operators and chauffeur companies and there are various reasons for this. Number one, i am a sole operator and, eventhough i always have back-up in the event of an emergency, i do not have large numbers of staff on my payroll. I do not have a fleet of vehicles to pay for and maintain. I have been in the business long enough to have made a name for myself and i have many friends in the USA who always recommend me to their friends when asked about their holiday with me. These friends are also always willing to talk to people i refer to them for information regarding me and how i operate and that is a wonderful help to me. I am recommended on Trip Advisor and many people use this great web-site for information on their holidays. You can find me on the Ireland West Tourism site. Maybe i have a head-start on many competitors as a result of my record to date. To cut a long story short...my year to date has been surprisingly good and i know that i am one of the more fortunate ones, thank God.
All of a sudden i am feeling more optimistic and i think that i am not alone in feeling that way. The markets are improving slowly but surely ...and over a sustained period at last. Nothing dramatic has happened there yet but the trend at last is upwards. Confidence is returning and people are beginning to relax a little ....and beginning to feel that they can spend a little again in safety. I have noticed an increase in enquiries again and that is most reassuring. I know that the months ahead are going to offer great value to holidaymakers traveling to Ireland and i intend to be a part of that. We have been misled by a feeling of never-ending prosperity in this country through the years of the Celtic Tiger and we were due a good kick in the behind. We got that ...and a bigger one than most countries, and we deserved it all. We spent and borrowed and spent again like we could print the stuff ourselves. We did not worry about prices and we were not getting or giving value for money. People purchased everything recklessly without paying any attention to the prices they were paying, and they were taken advantage of. Prices on everything here were sky high and visitors were shocked at the cost of just about everything in Ireland. We just kept on spending and seeking better wage increases. There were people buying petrol (gas) in filling stations that were charging way more than a filling station just down the road offering it a much better price. They never even noticed. Supermarkets were ripping us off while their branches in Great Britain were 50% lower in price. They blamed it all on our high wages and transport costs. Who do they think they were kidding. Aldi and Lidl came in from mainland Europe and started to give us value and now they are really socking it to them... and it is about time too. Tesco sold fuel at reduced prices and this brought the prices down in those areas where Tesco had fuel outlets. Of course all of these overchargers are telling us how wonderful they are as they reduce their prices in an effort to win back custom. They still have to pay the wages and transport costs....how come they can do it now when they could not do it twelve months ago? These were not the only areas we were being ripped off as pubs and restaurants and professionals all made hay while the sun shone. I am not going to go into them all as i would be here all night. Do all these opportunists think that we are stupid? Well maybe they are right in thinking that because we were....but i think we have learned a hard lesson. Now we have to shop around because the money is not as plentiful. We are looking for value, and about time. I will not pay above the odds for anything anymore and i am getting better value.
Barack Obama has indicated that he thinks that the recession is easing in the USA and i think that it is easing elsewhere also. Lets hope that it continues and lets not be too pessimistic about things and start talking positively instead of being prophets of doom and gloom.
I am looking forward to a good ending to my season and a Winter ahead when the enquiries for next season will be coming in steadily as people plan for a well earned holiday in Ireland next year. We have seen it all before and we survived. Now we are maybe looking at the fog lifting and the green fields of Ireland coming into view once again from far away. Maybe you will come and see them for yourself one of these days. Now is a good time.
Talk to you soon.
Comments more than welcome.

Busy Driver and Guide in West of Ireland

Well i have been busy once again but considering the recession we are in i can only say that i am fortunate. There are those who are in a position to avail of the great value that is now on offer due to the state of things and they are the lucky ones. I think that the months of September and October will see great value in many places and i am getting a lot of enquiries now for those months. Flights are cheaper and hotels and restaurants are doing their best to attract business. There will be great value in shops as they will be doing their best to reduce stocks before the tourist season comes to an end so this is the time to travel if you are in a position to do so. My chauffeur business is such a personal one that i am fortunate to have so many friends in the USA who continue to recommend me. My experience as a driver and guide have left me with many great friends.
September and October in Ireland can be lovely months and the weather can be very pleasant for touring. The days are still reasonably long and it is never too cold. The tourist season has also calmed down at this time and the roads are quieter and it makes for more pleasant touring. I still have availability for periods during these months so if you are looking for an experienced tour operator or chauffeur or guide then give me a call.
Just to finish...someone recently told me that their tour with me was "Hubba Hubba". I asked them what that meant and they said that Hubba meant "Wow". Well Hubba....you are Wow.
Talk to you soon.

Bank Holiday Weekend in Ireland

What a busy weekend this was as the Galway Races drew to a close and the August Bank holiday weekend drew in a new wave of tourists. The hex on our weather for the races was not a help and this weekend was not much better. It was a very busy time for everybody in the transport business as there is always a great demand to and from the races along with those seeking sight-seeing tours. Today saw many of our week-enders moving on once again but there are still plenty of holidaymakers around.
There will be great value for anybody planning on coming to Ireland for September and October and private drivers and chauffeurs should be kept going. These can be lovely months in Ireland and the weather is neither too hot nor too cold and we often get very pleasant weather during these months. I myself will be busy i know but i do have time available. I am doing special deals for these off season months and the value all around is worth considering. At the moment i am doing mostly days tours and airport transfers but that can be time consuming also. It makes a change and it is nice to be able to spend time in my own locality every now and then. The life of a tour operator can be trying and getting a break here and there is always welcome. I never get bored with the Irish countryside though and when i have people with me who are loving it all then it makes it all the more enjoyable. This year i have been very fortunate with the people who have toured with me and i am sure that there will be more new friends coming my way before the end of the season. Generally i am busy up to the end of October but i still get some late-comers into November. I am always available no matter what time of the year it is. It is not unusual for me to have Americans coming in the off-season to visit sons or daughters who are here studying here for a period and they take time out to visit them and take them touring for a few days. This gives them a break from their studies and also allows them to see the country before they return to the USA.
If you want to talk to me about touring in the off-season just drop me a line. I am sure that i can offer you an attractive holiday that will give you a true sense of what the Emerald Isle has to offer.
