High in the mountains at Moll's Gap with the snowcapped mountains in the background. Barfinnihy lake is one of many glacial lakes in these mountains.
These lakes are stocked regularly with brown trout and can be fished if you purchase a fishing licence at a Garda station or post office.

Today was a cold day, especially high in the mountains, so make sure you have your warm clothing and rainwear with you and you will be fine. We did not have any rain today, and we did have a nice time.
