Here we have a picture of a traditional West of Ireland fishing boat known as a hooker. There are not many of them left now but they were a very important mode of not only fishing, but also of transport of goods all along our western seaboard, and they all had beautiful red sails.
Our touring season is gradually winding down, but not quiet finished yet. We at Dove Chauffeurdrive will continue to be of service for as long as people require us, and there are people who wait for this time of the year as prices of hotels etc reduce. This improved season has helped us in our recovery from the the disasterous affects of the virus, but we are not only back now but preparing for an even more normal season in 2023. done by

.Another happy group pictured together at Corcomroe abbey in County Clare on a beautiful day. This Summer we had really lovely weather and it was as though mother nature had come to our rescue ts o help us battle with the virus. We were so fortunate here that we had a government that took all the recommended steps to control the spread and keep us safe from the disastrous effects of Covid. We cannot but admire the great work done by our doctors and all of those working in our hospitals , our nurses, our ambulance staff, cleaners etc. Thank you, thank you, thank you all.
I think that we at Dove want to thank you for your recognition for the care we showed to all of you who travelled covid free with us since this pandemic reared its ugly head. We did come through it with our heads held high. And so did you.
