Last night, Bruce and Pat had a wonderful evening in Moran's of the Weir, one of Ireland's best seafood restaurants on the outskirts of Galway in Kilcolgan. If you like seafood, then Moran's is the place to go. They also serve Guinness, so where else would you go.
The picture shows the view at the front of Moran's.
Pat and Bruce pictured at the world famous Ashford today.
Seated inside Ashford Castle. This is a five star hotel, and one of the finest in the world.
Here we have the view from the back of the Castle. The Corrib lake is the largest lake in the Rep of Ireland, and it is said that there are 365 islands on this lake.
Here we have Pat and Bruce pictured in Leenane at Europe's most westerly fjord.
A peat bog near Kylemore showing the face of the uncut peat bank with some cut peat under cover on the top.
A long range shot of the magical Kylemore Abbey in the heart of Connemara.
Believe it or not, it rained today, as is evidenced by Pat holding her umbrella high, just to prove that it does rain here. So there you go, you doubters.
Today was another great day despite the rain and sadly we are coming towards the end of what has been , for me anyway, a really lovely tour. I do know that Pat and Bruce did have a great time also. Tomorrow we make our way to Dublin where we will be saying our goodbyes.
Dear Dave,
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking such good care of our friends, the Rasmussens. We've followed your trip, seen the pictures, and it all looked wonderful!
God Bless,
