The road to the Gap is narrow and winding and not suitable for cars, and the only cars welcome to travel through here are the ones belonging to those living here.
My brave companions posing for a photo at one of the lakes by the roadside.
Sue seems to have managed to get rid of the gang and looks quiet comfortable just travelling with her driver.
Now they look like they are making a getaway. What a lovely colorful horse they have.
Making their way to the top at last. The views from up here at the top are just superb.
Looks like Sue has had pity on Mike and allowed him back in to the buggy. Terry and Jeff are still having to plod along behind.
Did i say behind? it looks like they are now going faster than the buggy.
Mike has found a four legged friend. This picture was taken at the end of the buggy ride where they would later board their boats.
Only Jeff could take a photo like this.
?
This was a gamekeepers secure fortress to protect this area from illegal poaching and hunting.
Here we go. All ready for the boat ride down through the lakes of Killarney to Ross Castle at the end of this fantastic trip.
Looks like Jeff is keeping an eye on the boatman.
What a happy crew as they laugh their way down through the lakes.
Finall the guys have made it back to dry land. I like the hat Mike.
The ladies make a prettier picture, do they not?
And finally, the private boat marina at Ross castle.
