Every now and then, life presents us with an exceptional human being who will spend his or her life showing the rest of us how to live . Nelson Mandela was one such person. It does take an exceptional person to live a life like this man did, and it would be too much for us to replicate, but we can at least try to gradually change and to become a little more like him, and those who have gone before him who left a similar legacy. We can all do good, we can all work on making amends to those we have harmed or hurt in any way, and we can all learn to live in peace and harmony with each other, and put the past where it is meant to be, in the past.. We can all help, with either our money or our time, to help our neighbour. We too can leave a mark.
Let us not waste that which has been handed down freely to us. Let us show by our example that what they taught us is not wasted.
