Sit back, relax, and let me do the driving. Irish roads are maybe a little different from what you are used to, and need your full attention. That means that, if you drive yourself, you are not in a position to enjoy the scenery without putting yourself and your passengers lives at risk. If you do hire a car, then the chances are that it will be a slightly more economical one than my Lexus, pictured above. You have air con, all leather seating, all the necessary safety equipment, top of the range insurance, and, of course, somebody with you who not only drives, but who knows and loves his country.
