 Day 1 of my seven-day tour of the west and southwest of Ireland.

Back on the road after a short break and welcoming my latest group from Boston at Shannon airport.


These are the Beane family, and what a lovely group of people i am about to tour with once again.


Our destination today was the town of Kinvara, which is a really lovely harbour town, situated on the southern shores of Galway Bay, and directly across the bay from Galway City.

Tonight they dined in the lovely Pier Head, which is situated on the harbour front close to the Kinvara Guest House, where they are staying for the first two nights. 

Today had been a long day for everybody, and they were off to their beds early this evening after a lovely first day in Ireland.

Tomorrow we are off to more exciting destinations, beginning with the majestic Cliffs of Moher.

    What a great day yesterday at the Cliffs of Moher, today we toured the Ring of Kerry on Dave’s birthday. We were so glad to spend the day with Dave
