Bank Holiday Weekend in Ireland

What a busy weekend this was as the Galway Races drew to a close and the August Bank holiday weekend drew in a new wave of tourists. The hex on our weather for the races was not a help and this weekend was not much better. It was a very busy time for everybody in the transport business as there is always a great demand to and from the races along with those seeking sight-seeing tours. Today saw many of our week-enders moving on once again but there are still plenty of holidaymakers around.
There will be great value for anybody planning on coming to Ireland for September and October and private drivers and chauffeurs should be kept going. These can be lovely months in Ireland and the weather is neither too hot nor too cold and we often get very pleasant weather during these months. I myself will be busy i know but i do have time available. I am doing special deals for these off season months and the value all around is worth considering. At the moment i am doing mostly days tours and airport transfers but that can be time consuming also. It makes a change and it is nice to be able to spend time in my own locality every now and then. The life of a tour operator can be trying and getting a break here and there is always welcome. I never get bored with the Irish countryside though and when i have people with me who are loving it all then it makes it all the more enjoyable. This year i have been very fortunate with the people who have toured with me and i am sure that there will be more new friends coming my way before the end of the season. Generally i am busy up to the end of October but i still get some late-comers into November. I am always available no matter what time of the year it is. It is not unusual for me to have Americans coming in the off-season to visit sons or daughters who are here studying here for a period and they take time out to visit them and take them touring for a few days. This gives them a break from their studies and also allows them to see the country before they return to the USA.
If you want to talk to me about touring in the off-season just drop me a line. I am sure that i can offer you an attractive holiday that will give you a true sense of what the Emerald Isle has to offer.
