A view from the bridge at Sneem in County KerrySneem is a really beautiful and most colorful little town in Count Kerry and one of my favourites in that area. Make sure you stop there and check out the local shops. This year there is really good value available so make sure you check out the quality shops like Quills. They also have a great shop in Killarney and they really do stock the best. There is also a little newsagents/sweet shop in Sneem where you can buy local hand-made chocolate which i can never resist. The views from the bridge here are really special.
I am now in the later stages of my present tour and it is going really well. Today we were at the magnificent Cliffs of Moher and had a lovely lunch in Gus O' Connor's pub in Doolin. I had the fish and chips with a salad and it was really good. There goes the diet.
Tomorrow we head for Connemara and another special day. More about that later.
