Happy and well fed.
Owen and Katie are on their way home once again as i write after what they described as a wonderful holiday. I was sad to see them go this morning (Mon) and i know that we have two new and wonderful friends. We spent Sunday morning taking in the main sights of Galway city before having a lovely Indian lunch in our favourite Indian restaurant. My wife Sue joined us for the day today and we really had a nice time. Later in the day Owen and Katie attended the medieval banquet in Dun Guaire castle and they thoroughly enjoyed this. It was a fitting finale to what i know for them was a special holiday and it was a privilege for me to be the one to take them on that tour. I would love to think that they will come back again sometime.
This morning i brought them to Shannon airport for their departure flight and it was sad to see them go. Thank you sincerely Owen and Katie...i miss you both already.
I have a small break until Thursday when my next tour begins. Time to recharge the batteries.
Keep in touch.
Dave

One of these trips I'm going to try an Indian restuarant. I've only had the Indian food here in America and I'm sure there's a difference.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristy. Next time you are in Galway look me up and i will make sure that you get to enjoy a really nice Indian meal. Many people steer clear of Indian food because they think that it will be too spicey. They have many different dishes and not all of them are hot spicey. They also have a lot of dishes that do not contain gluten and are suitable of celiacs. We love their food and rarely go a week without an Indian meal. I would highly recommend.
