This is another Norman Tower castle and one that has been restored and is now privately owned. You can see this one near Doolin in county Clare. The Aran Islands are visible just to the left of the tower on the horizon.I have been in Killarney since Friday and had a really nice couple of days there with my wife. We stayed in the Plaza Hotel right in the heart of the town and i love this place. The staff are always so nice there and for me it is a home away from home as i am often there with my guests during the season. It is a great hotel location-wise also as it is within walking distance of everything in this great town. Make sure to make it your home when you get to Killarney. You can tell them that Dave sent you....it will not do any harm at all.
