What a gorgeous day it was here in Ireland today with the sun shining in all its glory. These are some of the photos i took as we toured Connemara. The above one was taken by the river in Oughterard, a very lovely little town just North of Galway on the shores of Lough Corrib, and here you see Karen and Ralph enjoying their visit to God's Country.
I thought that these lillies on the pond at Kylemore Abbey were cute.
This is a photo of the restored Henry family private church at Kylemore.
Karen and Ralph on the roadside in the Maam Valley with the rugged Connemara mountains in the background.
A view of the Corrib lake from the gardens behind Ashford Castle. Yes, that guy with the camera is Ralph. You can also see a man enjoying a spot of fishing in the background.
Here we have Karen and Ralph on a staircase inside Ashford Castle. This five star hotel is one of the world's top hotels and well worth a visit....if you can afford it. Seriously though....they do offer very attractive deals.
