The narrow winding road through the Gap of Dunloe in Killarney
I am most at home when i am in the rural areas and i find that i am not alone in that. The West and South West of Ireland is my own homeland and many people who tour with me find that touring in this area is a most exciting experience and love getting close to a world so different from their normal life at home. For them, seeing sheep or cattle on the road is just amazing. Seeing close up, the newly born lambs with their mothers, like in the photo above, they are surprised that the Momma sheep has horns. She is well prepared to defend her babies.
