Chauffeurdriven Vacation to Cliffs of Moher and Killarney

Yesterday we left Galway behind as we began our journey to the South. The picture above shows the magical castle of Dun Guaire on the outskirts of Kinvara.

The town of LIsdoonvarna is famous for its matchmaking and it was where all of the farmers went in the Fall to find a wife. There they met up with the matchmakers who would pair them off with a suitable lady, as the single ladies would also be there looking for a husband. This festival still goes on every September and of course all of my ladies were not only surprised but secretly delighted to just happen to be here at this time.I wonder did they know about this when they were planning this trip?
Here you can see some of the traffic, cars an caravans parked all the way through the town. I wonder why they bring caravans with them? There were a lot of guys wandering around the town with a glove on their left hand? Just one glove? What was that all about?
Here you have a couple of prospects just emerging into the sunlight after what looks like a hard night. There were quiet a lot of rather sleepy looking individuals wobbling around but i suppose these kind of festivities do take a lot out of you.

Finally, after dragging my party out of Lisdoonvara we made our way to the Cliffs of Moher. It was cool again today but the sun was shining and we did have a great time. Later we stopped off in Adare where we had lunch before making our way to Killarney where we will be for two nights.

Today we are off to Dingle.
