West of Ireland Tour with Chauffeurdriven Holidays and Dave Hogan

Happy to be in Ireland at last, after a long journey all the way from Minnesota.
From the left;  Sean (I am spelling that the Irish way), Jack, and Sheryl.
I left my friends to relax and enjoy Galway city for the rest of today. We will be travelling together for the next few days, and i know that we will all have a great time together. Tomorrow we head into Connemara, the region made famous in that great old Irish movie, "The Quiet Man", which starred John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Maybe you can take the time to follow our tour by checking in to my Blog as we travel.
They had arrived at Shannon early this morning on a day that was bright, sunny, and fresh. It remained that way all day today without it ever becoming uncomfortably hot at any time. I love my Irish weather. If you are planning on coming to Ireland, and especially if you are planning to spend some time in the western regions, Shannon airport is the ideal airport to start out from. If you wish to take in Dublin also, then you could either fly into, or out of Shannon, and use Dublin airport for the other flight. Shannon is a regional airport, and is so easy to get through compared to the larger airports.
Before i left for Shannon this morning, i took a stroll down to the harbour near my home. The sun was shining and the birds were singing and the air was clean and fresh.
The harbour near my home. It looks so much nicer when the tide is in.

If you are thinking about taking a trip to Ireland anytime in the future, then maybe i can help.  Feel free to contact me if you think i can help.
