The Dingle peninsula with chauffeurdriven vacation and Dave Hogan

Our visit to Dingle was blessed with glorious sunshine, and our first view of the Blasket islands
(pictured above) was a treat to behold.
Karlene and Rita, pictured together outside this ancient beehive hut near Slea Head.
Karlene and Rita, pictured inside what was a communal Beehive hut. The doorway led into another chamber, and the stone on the ground at the entrance to that chamber, covered the entrance to another underground chamber, known as a souterrain. These underground chambers, were a place of refuge in the event of an attack, and also used to store foodstuffs, as the temperatures would be a lot cooler underground.
All of us together, sitting on the wall at Slea Head, with the greater Blasket island in the background.

This crucification scene at Slea Head, is a memorial to all of those who were lost at sea, and those who still earn their livelihood from the sea.
This island is known as the sleeping giant, and look out for it after you round Slea Head on your journey.
Karlene and Rita, enjoying this magnificent scenery on the Wild Atlantic way.
A trip to the top of the mountains, and the Conor Pass, is special, as from there you can enjoy the views of both sides of the Dingle peninsula.
Looking down from above at the Conor pass.
Do you really want to drive these roads yourself ? Maybe you would prefer to be able to relax with me,and take in the fabulous views

The Celtic Steps show in Killarney is a real treat and i highly recommend this.
This picture really does not give you a proper idea of just where this sheep is standing. If he slips he has a drop of hundreds of feet, but he knows what he is doing.

If you like what you see, then maybe you might like me to take you around. Just send me a message.
