The Blarney Castle and Kinsale with Dovechauffeurdrive and Dave Hogan

Today we left Killarney as we made our way to the famous Blarney Castle in County Cork.

Our first stop was in the market town of Macroom, and of course this was a great opportunity for Judah to test out his rodeo skills on an Irish Bull.
Looks like he is coming unstuck here.
Daddy, with his little girl, at Blarney with the castle in the background.
Now the whole group together again in the grounds of the castle.
The big moment for Lisa as she prepares to lean back to kiss the famous stone. Note the iron bars, which are there to prevent you from falling quiet a long way down to the ground below.
Now its the turn of Judah. Does he really need the "Gift of the Gab" ?
Not to be outdone, our Jim gave it a go. Just imagine what it was like traveling in my car after they all had kissed that stone? "I have a question" seemed to come at me from all angles for the rest of today.
After enjoying a really great visit to Blarney we made our way to Kinsale where we visited the famous Charles Fort. Here we are inside the main entrance of the fort.
One of the fine buildings inside the fort.
A view out towards the entrance of Kinsale harbour from inside the fort.
The Irish Tricolor flying proudly in the breezed over Charles fort.
A lovely picture of Judah and Lisa, with the famous Kinsale harbour in the background.

This was another really enjoyable day, with glorious sunshine all the way. Tomorrow will be our final day together, as we finally part company in Bunratty in county Clare, where my pals will be celebrating their Irish visit at the Bunratty medieval banquet in that very special and historic castle.
