My happy, but tired group, on their arrival at Shannon airport early on Saturdau morning. The magnificent bronze in the background is tribute to three of our most famous Munster and Irish rugby forwards.
From the left we have, Jim,Lisa, Judah and the little warrior,Finn.
After making our way to Kinvara in Galway, we all had a really great Irish breakfast together, including black pudding, before i left them to relax for a while.
In the afternoon, they were all sufficiently rested to head for the Cliffs of Moher. Eventhough the day was showery and cold, we did get to walk the Cliffs,and take some nice photos, as you can see below.
Here we have Jim, having recovered his woolie hat, which blew away in the fresh breeze, It looks like the fresh Atlantic winds are agreeing with him already.
Is there anything better to get you going on a wild and cold March day than an Irish ice cream cone with a Cadbury's flake chocolate in the middle.We call them ninety nines, i have no idea why. Finn did not really want one. Would you believe that?
