Chauffeurdriven vacation to Cliffs of Moher with David Hogan - REPOST SEP 15 2016

Today we made our way into the Burren of County Clare, a barren mountainous area, which was once upon a time the ocean floor, and which is bordered on the Atlantic side by the awesome Cliffs of Moher. Our first stop off was at the 12th century Cistercian Abbey at Corcomroe. Here we have Barbara and Phil seated with the old abbey in the background.

A nice picture of the couple inside the abbey, in front of the main altar area.

A lovely photo of Phil and Barbara, on the mountainside with Galway Bay in the distance.

Phil and Barbara will be celebrating a 55th anniversary during this vacation, and that must be a great example for people coming to this famous town of Lisdoonvara, the famous matchmaking town where many men and women have found a lifetime partner, an example of just what true commitment means.

The beautiful Cliffs of Moher in the sunshine today.

Barbara and Phil enjoying our visit to the cliffs today.

A view out towards the Aran Islands, with this unusual round Norman tower near the town of Doolin.

Our visit to the Cliffs resulted in an awakening of our appetites, and here we have Barbara and Phil tucking into their wonderful seafood chowder in Gus O'Connors Pub in Doolin.

A view of the interior of this famous pub in Doolin. Throughout the season you can enjoy wonderful traditional Irish music session here every night.

Phil and Barbara enjoying a stroll on the beach near Kinvara. Barbara actually paddled in the water just to see if i was telling her the truth about our lovely waters, which are warmed by the Gulf Stream.

Barbara, pictured with this fine looking man, high in the Burren mountains today. Well done Barbara. Phil was busy taking Facebook photos when this picture was taken.
