Chauffeurdriven tour to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren

The Cliffs of Moher have to be one of the most popular destinations for visitors to Ireland. This morning, i started my latest tour with a group from Holland. The day was not promised good, but this forecast turned out to be completely wrong, and our weather was really lovely all day.
Our first stop, after leaving Kinvara, where my new friends had stayed last evening, was the old Abbey at Corcomroe, which dates back to the eleven hundreds.
From the left here we have, Niek, Renske, Lieke, Henk, Timmo, and Ien, all smiling, and ready for their first Irish adventure today.
Here we have Ien and Henk inside the old abbey. After the abbey's were abandoned, people began to bury their dead  inside the church, as this was sacred ground. You can see the grave stones on the floor around Ien and Henk.
They also used the area outside the church as a burial ground, something that is still done today around this abbey Above we have a lovely picture of Renske and Niek.
Lieke and Timmo, here, pictured in front of where the main altar would have been in this old abbey.
The Poulnabrone Dolmen is an ancient tomb, dating back thousands of years. It is located high in the Burren area of county Clare, a region that was once upon a time the ocean floor.
Here we have my full group, in front of the old tomb. This is a protected national monument.

At last, the mighty Cliffs of Moher, and the sun was still shining. Today we were blessed. From the left in this photo we have, Timmo, Lieke, Henk, Ien, Renske, and Niek. They loved the cliffs and enjoyed a walk to the top.
What a lovely couple they make, Ien and Henk, with Galway Bay and the cliffs in the background.
A nice picture of all the group together, with this old Norman tower castle on the hillside overlooking Doolin town and the Harbour below.
Well, i just had to get in on the act, and joined the gang for this lovely photo, with the stone walls of the West of Ireland in the background. Don't we all look well.
Tomorrow we are on our way to Killarney, so please come along and enjoy.

If you need me just send me a message.
