Rossetti in West of Ireland

I had the pleasure of spending two days with the Rossetti family, and Alexandra Rossetti's husband Charles, during their short visit to the West of Ireland, this week. The first day we spent in glorious sunshine along the Atlantic Way coastline, visiting Roundstone, Ballyconneely and Clifden.
The beautiful coral strand in Ballyconneely near Clifden, where we watched this your lady exercising her Connemara pony.
Needless to say that the pony was having a great time cooling off in the heat in the pure water of the Atlantic. I could have joined her myself.
The weather was not so kind yesterday as we made our way to the Cliffs of Moher, stopping off on our way at Corcomroe Abbey in the Burren of County Clare.
Here we have the family, with the Abbey, dating back to the early twelve hundreds, in the background. As you can see, the rain is back.
From the left, we have, Brian, Alexandra, Charles, Julie, and Steve.

Despite the bad weather, everybody enjoyed our visit to the Cliffs. They did come prepared, as everybody should when you come to Ireland. Just remember, this is our first bad weather spell for quiet a few weeks., and the bad weather does not spoil the beauty of this wonderful country, it just allows you to see her in another mood. Like the rest of us, she does have her moods.

You still have time to contact me for a trip this year, if you cannot resist it. I will gladly do my best to look after you.
