Todd and family in Ireland June 2019

Christine Todd and her mother Bobbie, and brother Alex began their tour with me on Tuesday, after arriving in Galway by bus from Dublin, where they had spent the first couple of days in Ireland.
Arriving in Galway, fully loaded down with their luggage, from the left, Christine, Bobbie, her mom, and her brother Alex.
The were hungry on reaching Kinvara, where they were to spend their first night, and where they had a nice lunch in the Merriman hotel.. Looks like they enjoyed it, and they did.
After lunch, we were off to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Don't they look well, posing in front of the beautiful Corcomroe Abbey. This Abbey dates back to the eleven hundreds.
Inside the Abbey, with the lovely windows behind the main altar.
Christine fell in love with this lady, who actually tried to lick her hand. It looked like that anyway, but not to be recommended.
A special view of the famous cliffs of Moher on a special day.

The ancient Dun Guaire castle hosts medieval banquets, and that was where my pals were headed this evening for this fun event. They had a great night, and enjoyed it all very much.
Pictured together inside the walls of the castle, as they waited for the doors of the castle to open to let them in for their feast.
Thursday we were destined for some of the most beautiful places on the Ring of Kerry. Torc Waterfall is a most popular place to spend time, and here we have the lovely Christine, posing for this photo, as we made our way through the trees to visit the falls.
Joined here by mom Bobbie, and brother Alex.
Torc is not a great big waterfall, but it is cute, and quiet lovely. Here we have, from the left, Alex,Christine, and Bobbie, with the Waterfall in the background.
Another beautiful picture of Christine, at Ladies View high in the Killarney mountains.
Another nice picture, showing the Killarney lakes stretching off into the distance, and my pals, sitting comfortably on a rock, and taking in the gorgeous views, and enjoying the clean fresh air.
What more could you ask for.
Later today, we were due to attend the Celtic Steps traditional music and Irish dance show at Killarney Race course.
First of all though, we went for a meal in the Uptown restaurant, where we all enjoyed a really nice meal. Seated together, yes, that's me on the left, then Alex, Christine, and Bobbie.
Seated together before the show started, Alex, Christine, and Bobbie
Some of the performers onstage.
What a happy gang together, after what was a great show. Christine, second from the left, with the producer and director, Sean Murphy,on her left. Alex is in the middle with the blue shirt, and Bobbie, third from the right.
More to follow, as we head for the Gap of Dunloe on Friday.
