Donna Straat, and her Daughter Hilary, arrived in Shannon airport this morning from JFK, to begin their tour of the West and Southwest of Ireland with me.Poor Hilary had not managed to get any sleep on the way over, but she still managed a nice smile here in this photo. Donna was bubbling with excitement, and we set off straight away for their first view, of the west of Ireland, and the Burren of County Clare, and the majestic Cliffs of Moher
The morning was quiet nice, no rain, but not a lot of sunshine, dry and cool. Here we have Hilary, on the left, pictured with Donna, and posing together with the Cliffs in the background.

on this, their first day in Ireland. Donna had been to Ireland in the past, but she was excited for Hilary, and i sure am delighted to see, just how much she was enjoying herself already.
I had to get in on the act here and spoil, what should have been another lovely picture. Donna described me as "The baloney in the sandwich". Was it that bad?
Our day ended on this first day, in Galway city, where they were to stay on this first night.
This was a really nice start to what i know will be a very special tour, and a tour that i am looking forward to as i show these wonderful ladies my unique, and magical Ireland.
