Guided executive tours with own driver in Ireland, Dublin, West and South West.

My latest happy couple arrived in Dublin yesterday and i met them this morning for the first time at their hotel there to begin our adventure together. Here they are, smiling and ready to go, outside the Grafton Capital in the heart of Dublin city, where they stayed last night. This hotel is located just off Stephens Green and in an ideal spot fr touring the city centre sights.

Today the weather was really lovely with plenty of gorgeous sunshine. I took this picture outside the G Hotel in Galway where they are staying tonight.

I brought them on a tour of the city and here they are pictured in Eyre Square right in the town centre with the famous Browne doorway in the background. This was the main entrance door to the residence of the Browne family, one of the fourteen tribes who ruled Galway city in days gone bye. These families were all wealthy merchant families and mainly of Norman origin. Galway was very much an Anglo Norman town and as it was situated on the coast, a great trading city.

All of the family colours are on display on these flag poles in Eyre Square.

We did make a really nice start today and i found is very easy and most enjoyable as i was i0n the company of a couple who had come to Ireland to have a really8 good time. I have lots of lovely places in mind for them to savor.

Tomorrow we head for Connemara and the magical Ashford castle.
