Today my new friends were off to Dingle to continue their tour of the Wild Atlantic way. The day was nice ,but Loren? was it "sweater nice" ? Yesterday i thought it was a little chilly. These Long Islander's are tough stuff. Of course they have Irish ancestry. (forgot that).
There she is again in her sweater. At least Kevin is wearing his new Irish tweed cap. Nice one Kev.
Now we have arrived at Slea Head at the tip of the peninsula, with the famous Blasket Islands off shore in the background. Many of my friends from Springfield in Mass, and indeed all over Mass. will know the significance of these particular islands, as many of the people who emigrated from these islands, settled in Hungry Hill in Springfield Mass. Indeed many of you have been there with me during your own tours over the past few years. I miss you all. This was another great day, which i know they really enjoyed once again.
Tomorrow, Fridayb26th, we are off to the magical Gap of Dunloe on the Ring of Kerry. Make sure to join us.
