This private guide and driver is at present touring in the Cork and Kerry region and yesterday we were at the famous Blarney Castle. Kissing the Blarney stone was right up there at the top of my friends list and i could not stop them from talking afterwards. Of course i had to remind myself that that was where i got all my blarney from and indeed i had to stop going there to kiss the stone myself as i was constantly suffering from soar throats from all the exercise my tonsils were getting. Seriously though, they really did enjoy the fun of participating in this traditional practice, and where would we be if we could not have a little laugh every now and then. Today they will be heading into the Gap of Dunloe. Travelling through this place is one of the magical journeys in our lovely Emerald Isle. Their journey back to Killarney later by boat across the lake to Ross castle wll be another memorable experience. It is raining at the moment but like the true travellers that they are, they do not mind. The forecast is better as the day progresses so i expect them to enjoy some sunshine shortly. It will all be a part of the story when they return home to California.
