Yesterday was very special day for my friends as they went on their magical tour of the Gap of Dunloe.They really had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They walked quiet a good deal of their ascent through the Gap and fell in love with the two horses pulling their side-cars. I think that this will turn out to have been one of the highlights of their Irish adventure, and the day was also one of lovely sunshine all the way.
Last night we all went to the Lake Hotel, which is situated on the shores of Lough Leane in Killarney.Here we enjoyed a wonderful meal in their quality restaurant and the views of the lawns and the lake and the Kerry mountains in the back ground made for a very special setting. This hotel is worth a visit so if you are heading for Killarney a look at their web-site might be more than helpful.
Today we head for Kinsale as we near the end of this most enjoyable tour. There is still a lot to see though and Kinsale will be another place that will leave them with more lovely memories.They deserve them all.
