Looking for chauffeur/guide in West of Ireland

Well today was a beautiful day once again here in Ireland, but it was also a sad day for me, as i had to bid farewell to my two lovely travelling companions of the past week, Susan and Cam. We did have a great time, and a fun time. They fly out early tomorrow morning, and i hope that they leave with many happy memories. They were very fortunate to have chosen this past week for their holiday as the weather turned at last and we had the long awaited joy of sunshine which many of my customers had to do without this Summer. Today we left Kinsale and visited the port of Cobh (pronounced Cove), this famous harbour which was the departure for hundreds of thousands of Irish emigrants over the years. It was also the last port of call for the Titanic before she set sail on her final tragic voyage.

Cam pictured inside the Cobh heritage centre. This is a wonderful place, and well worth a visit, especially if any of your ancestors left from this port.

A parting photo of the ladies outside their B&B, Bunratty Villa, in Bunratty this afternoon. This is a lovely place to stay and close to Bunratty Castle and within fifteen minutes of Shannon airport for anybody flying out from Shannon. If your destination is the west and south west of Ireland then Shannon is the airport for you.....so easy to get into and out of, and central to all  you want to see on the western side of the country.

Our weather looks settled at last and maybe we will have an Indian Summer. I still have free times available in October so get in touch with me if you are thinking about a visit then. October can be a lovely month here. It can be especially nice for those who like things a little less busy. Prices can also be more reasonable so give me a shout.
