Ladies View and Mol's Gap with the Burgerts Sept 2013

Jim had recovered sufficiently today to get out and about and enjoy the sun. Liz had been at this exact point with me yesterday but the mist obscured the view completely. This is the view at Ladies View, named after Queen Victoria who proclaimed it to be the most beautiful in the kingdom when she stood here with her handmaidens during her brief visit to Killarney.
A view of a sheep farm on the mountain side as we made our way up to Moll's Gap. You can see the Gap of Dunloe in the mountains in the background.

We came upon this wedding party as the bride exited her car on her way into the church in Kilgarvan.

Here we see the bride joining up with her bridesmaids, and her little flower girl. That is her Dad on the right.

The weather today was lovely, and it was nice to have sunshine again after a few not so nice days. Tomorrow is forecast bad with a lot of wind.
