Thanksgiving in Ireland,if we did have such a holiday, would undoubtedly be seen as a Catholic celebration i this country, but i am aware that in the USA it is not connected to any particular religion or creed, and is celebrated by all. Ireland is of course a mainly Catholic country, but i feel that my strong connection with the USA, through family connections, and also my business, that i myself have many reasons to celebrate this day with all of you in the USA, and thank you for simply being there. When i do give thanks tomorrow (Thursday), i will do so with a prayer for all of my family and friends in the USA, and elsewhere.
I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and may you have a most enjoyable and peaceful holiday.
