All good things come to an end and this was the final picture i took outside the Grafton Capital Hotel in Dublin, after what had been a really lovely tour with a lovely family.
From the left we have, Loretta, Tim, Becky, George and Beth.
This tour was organised by the family members for their parents,Loretta and George, to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, and to see them all so happy when it had worked out so well, was special for me. They had been so easy to deal with from the begining, and such wonderful people to travel, which made the whole thing easy.
Maybe St Patrick had something to do with just how well everything worked out. I love this picture of the family, which i took after mass in the Cathedral in Killarney on St Patrick's day. The weather for the full duration of this tour was exceptional for March, and helped to make this tour even more special.
This is another lovely picture of my pals at the Killarney Golf Club, and it looks like Summer had arrived early in Ireland.
The lovely Loretta, with one of her colorful hats, (she had a selection of them), with the green fields of the Dingle peninsula in the background. Doesn't she look happy after her 50 years of marriage.
Finally, i would just like to thank my new pals from Iowa and California for selecting me as their travelling companion, guide, and driver, for this very special occasion, and for being so easy to look after. How i would love to see them all come back again sometime, and take up where we left off.
They are now once again back home, and i am sure, letting all of their pals know about their Irish adventure.
God bless you all.
Dave
