Golf in Killarney with dovechauffeurdriven vacations

An early morning view of Lough Laune at Killarney Golf Club yesterday morning,as my party prepared for their golf outing.

Here they are on the first fairway waiting for me to leave as they prepared to take their approach shots to the green. From the left we have George, Beth, and Tim.In the background you can see one of their buggies, with caddy John waiting patiently for them. I think that they may have been nervous about what i might have been putting on my Blog later if they allowed me to stay.

I managed to get this shot off before i left, which shows Tim hitting off the first tee. He did manage to avoid the lake, eventhough i did hear that there were a few splashes later in the round.

This was a sneaky shot of Beth, who i must say impressed me. Playing with the guys must have been difficult for her though. If you are a golfer, you know what it is like hanging around between shots while others are constantly looking for their golf balls.
The day overall was a great success,and they loved every minute of it. Loretta and Becky, not being golfers themselves, spent the day at Muckross House in Killarney, enjoying the wonderful gardens and a horse drawn buggy ride to the Torc waterfall. They even managed to do a little shopping there also. Well that goes without saying.

My happy gang, Loretta, George and Beth, enjoying a lovely meal later at the Porterhouse pub and restaurant in the centre of Killarney last night, where a really great night was had by all. Beth gave us a lovely rendering of Amazing grace. She does have a lovely voice.
