Stan, admiring the patchwork fields near Dingle town.
The famous South Pole Inn, in the town of Annascaul, which was the home of the legendary Tom Crean, the hero of Scott's expedition to the South Pole. This pub is well worth a visit, if you are in the Dingle area, and is very easy to find.Paula and Donna, pictured together, close to Dingle town.
Inch strand is a beautiful stretch of beach and has become a great and popular centre for surfing on Dingle.
Preparing to enjoy a snack in the South Pole Inn, and the food was excellent.
Once again, my full party, with the Inch beach in the background. The Ring of Kerry mountains complete the picture.
A visit to St Mary's Cathedral in Killarney is a must. The building of this church began prior to the famine in 1845, but ceased for a few years before recommencing again, and was finally completed in the early nineteen hundreds. It is a magnificent Cathedral, and well worth a visit,
.
Gary, Paula, and Stan, pictured outside the main door of the Cathedral.
This lovely altar,to commemorate St Therese of the Roses is presently on display in the cathedral for a nine day novena in her honour.
Finally, a peaceful scene in the grounds of Ross castle, with these two beautiful swans on the river, at Lough Laune.
