On our way to the famous Cliffs of Moher, we visited the town of Lisdoonvarna, a town famous for its Matchmakers, people who would find the ideal partner for those seeking a life partner. People would gather in Lisdoonvarna every September after the harvest,and, with the help of these matchmakers, they might find that special person that they would never have found without the help of these experts. This practice still takes place and the above roadside sign is advertising the annual Matchmaking Festival.
Enjoying the sun in the center of the town, which was extremely busy as the Festival was in full swing.
Then it was on to the awesome Cliffs of Moher, pictured above.

Paula, Donna, and Stan, enjoying this view of the Cliffs. Stan. Gary was still desperately trying to do a deal on that Rolls, but unfortunately the owner would not accept his check, as he felt that if he was genuine, and could afford a Rolls, he could afford a suit of clothes.
You are not going to see this on a main road Stateside. Quiet normal for Ireland, and what a nice sight.
Returning to the docking area at Ross Castle after their Gap of Dunloe tour. This is a fantastic journey through the Kerry mountains on a horse drawn buggy, and then a trip down through the lakes of Killarney back to Ross Castle on the outskirts of the town.
Back on dry land again after their fantastic adventure. All happy and ready for a feed of good old Irish food in one of Killarney's many wonderful restaurants.
