Grant's to the Cliffs of Moher.

Today was our day in the Burren of County Clare, and the Cliffs of Moher.
Jim and Ilene, pictured together at the harbour front in Kinvara yesterday morning, before we set sail for the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher.
The ancient Corcomroe Abbey, at the foot of the hills between Kinvara and Ballyvaughan, dates back to the late eleven hundreds, and is a lovely place to visit.
The town of Lisdoonvarna is the place to go in the month of September, if you are looking for a husband or a wife. There is a major matchmaking festival held there every year, where the professional matchmakers will help select a partner for you. This festival runs from the beginning of September, and now even in to early October.
Ilene, looking happy and relaxed at the Cliffs. The sun was not as strong yesterday, but it was a lovely day, and still warm, without being uncomfortable, as it has been recently.
Jim, back in the picture. We were fortunate to get to the Cliffs early in the day yesterday, as the crowds there at the moment make parking very difficult.
These two little guys were providing entertainment at the cliffs, playing traditional Irish music, and playing it very well. Well done guys.

While at the Cliffs, Ilene and Jim spent time walking  along the cliff tops, and enjoyed that very much. Later we made our way back to Kinvara once again to relax there for the evening, and prepare for the next leg of our journey to the south and south west on Thursday.
