Gallagher family in Ireland

My latest tour began on Wednesday with the Gallagher family, Bob,Sharon, Stacey and Kevin, all the way from the Boston area. From the word go it was so easy to be with this happy group who had come to Ireland after already having spent the earlier days of their vacation in Iceland.
On Wednesday morning we were up and awy to the Burren of County Clare and the Cliffs of Moher, and from there we were to make our way to the south of the country and the town of Killarney.
Our first stop today was at the historical Corcomroe Abbey in County Clare, not far from the town of Kinvara.
From the left in the picture above we have, Kevin, Sharon, Bob and Stacey.
Inside this ancient Abbey, dating back to the eleven hundreds.
Pictured together on the hillside on the Corkscrew hill in the Burren.
Our first photo together at the awesome Cliffs of Moher, from the left, Sharon, Bob, Kevin and Stacey.
Another lovely pictured of my happy group.
Thursday we began our tour of the Dingle peninsula, one of my own personal favourite areas. Here we have my group together at the lovely beach at Inch, which featured in the movie, Ryan's Daughter.
The day was cool, showery and windy, but still really nice for traveling.
The Beehive huts near Slea Head are ancient stone dwelling places, and are most interesting, and well worth a visit.
More interesting still for Stacey was the opportunity to cuddle this baby lamb.

Another lovely picture of our very happy Stacey

How cute, Kevin and Stacey with their two pet lambs.
Mom Sharon just had to join the party, and you can tell that she also was loving this special occasion.
Here we have the family, all together, sitting on the wall at Slea Head, at the tip of the peninsula, with the historic Blasket islands in the background.
What a lovely day we had together today, and a day i know  the Gallagher family will long remember, especially their visit to the baby lambs.
Tonight, after a lovely meal together in the Uptown restaurant in Killarney they are off to the wonderful Celtic Steps show at the racecourse grounds, a show, featuring the best of Irish traditional music and dance.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, they are on their way to the magical Gap of Dunloe.
