The Cliffs of Moher in county Clare are one of the highlights of destinations for most of our visitors from all over the world. And that was our destination on Day 3 of my tour with Dawn and Jose Ortiz.

Here we have my happy couple on the outskirts of the lovely town of Kinvara, with the famous Dun Guaire castle in the background. Kinvara is the lovely harbour town where they were staying for two nights.

Our first stop this morning was a really lovely treat, the wonderful chocolate factory on the outkirts of Kinvara. If you have a love for chocolate then this stop is a must.

Their coffee of chocolate drinks are just heavenly.

Then it was on to the ancient Cistercian Abbey at Corcomroe. This abbey was built in the early twelfth century.
Then it was off to the famous town of Lisdoonvara, the magical Matchmaking town. the poster above shows what Lisdoonvara is all about as the festival held every year here is a huge celebration for anybody looking for a wife or a husband, and has been held here for centuries with great success. Are you looking for your ideal partner?

The Matchmaker Bar, right in the center of Lisdoonvara, is one of the places where you can arrange to meet a matchmaker, who will be your guide to finding that perfect partner.
Dawn and Jose, pictured together in the center of the town, with the statues of dancers and musicians depicting the fun of the festival in the background.
On leaving Lisdoonvarna, we continued on our way to the Cliffs and visited St Brigids well close to the cliffs. St Pasatrick is our patron saint and St Brigid is our patroness. People come here to pray to Brigid seeking help with all kinds of problems and many claim that their have been answered here.
Inside the well area you will see all of these pieces of memoabilia which are left behind in memory of people who may be sick and dying or maybe already dead, or sick in some way and need help.

Then it was on to the Cliffs. What an awesome sight they are, and here we are, myself now getting tired of being left out of all the photos, and grabbing the opportunity when i got a chance.( some lovely young lady from the USA taking this photo)
At the top of the Cliffs, i took this lovely shot of my lovely companions with O'Brien's Tower in the background.
Another fabulous day.

Tomorrow we are off to the world renowned ancient monastic settlement at Clonmacnoise in County Offally. Stay with us.
