God rest poor Jane Coneen, a lady from Pennsylvania who toured with me on a number of occasions. She was a wonderful artist who specialised in miniature books, decorated with her beautiful miniature paintings. She always claimed that there were no skies like Irish skies similar to those in the picture above. This picture was taken at the harbour in Kinvara with the Clare Hills in the background.

Are you featured here in this photo? Well that is me on the right and lets see if you can identify yourself. This picture of course features the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast of Ireland.

One of the typical Galway Bay fishing boats, known as "The Hooker" sailing up the Bay into Kinvara. Many of these boats were not only used as fishing boats, but were used as transport vessels, carrying everything from turf or peat all along the west coast, and also carrying people in and out to Galway from the offshore islands for there general shopping, or carrying people in to the hospital, or to Galway if they were traveling away somewhere. 

Things are still buzzing here as September can be a very busy month, and October likewise is a favourite for many who can avail of the quieter times. No matter when you come, Ireland is still beautiful.
