Rainbows are frequent visitors as we make our way around and are amazingly popular with visitors who do not get to see them nearly as often as we do. Note to stone wall here also.

Hello once again to all my dear friends far and wide. It is with great pleasure that i am able to announce that my new website is finally up and running after all the trouble i have had since my previous website was hacked, and virtually turned into a porn site by somebody, which  resulted in me having to close it down in order to protect anybody who might have logged into it.

www,chauffeurdriveholidays.com

(have a look and let me know what you think.)

On this website you will find different sections explaining who we are and what we do, and also a form for you to fill in, if you are interested in contacting us with regard to the possibility of coming to enjoy an Irish adventure with our tour company.

I am David Hogan, and i set up Dove Chauffeurdrive back in 1999, and it has grown since then into the leading chauffeurdriven tour company in Ireland, for many reasons.

Number one. I was born and reared in Ireland. I was educated in Ireland, both at high school level and University level. I was born in the West of Ireland, which to me, and many others, is the heart of what the real Ireland is. This is an area that was devastated by the famine, and neglected by the foreign occupiers for centuries. It is a land of rugged mountains, beautiful lakes and boglands, which have produced the fuel, peat, for our people for centuries. Our Atlantic  coastline now has become one of Ireland's most gorgeous scenic routes, the Wild Atlantic way.

This ruined house at Slea Head in County Kerry is only  a stones throw away from the Atlantic and the Blasket islands offshore. The Blaskets are no longer inhabited but there are still descendants of the former inhabitants alive in Hungry Hill in Mass. where they settled after abandoning their island home.

I still find many people from there come to tour with me, and have me take them there to see for themselves where it all began.

Proudly standing with the bay of Waterville at his back is Charlie Chaplin, remembered in this Kerry town as this was his favourite destination for his holidays. Maybe you can come yourself and see why exactly it was such a favourite of his.

I am hoping to be back blogging regularly now so please feel free to visit me anytime you wish and maybe help you with any queries you may have.

You will be able to follow my blog from my website also

See you soon.

Dave
