A lovely group picture of all of us together, yes, even me, taken by a very kind American tourist free of charge outside the Trinitarian Abbey in the center of Adare town. The camera appears to have been a little out of focus, as it does make it look like i have a bit of a tummy, which of course is false photography.
This Trinitarian church dates back to the early twelve hundreds, and is a really spectacular church. Here we have Nancy, and Eric and Scott, posing inside the church with the main altar in the background.
On reaching Killarney, everybody had a snack, before i took them on a tour of the town, and then to the ancient Ross Castle, situated beside Lough Laune, a historic and beautifully restored Castle, which was home to the O'Donoghue family.
We were very fortunate to arrive at the castle just in time to catch a tour of this historic castle, which everybody really enjoyed. This is really something to put on your wish list if you intend to visit Killarney.
In this picture above, we have Eric, and Scott, after their tour, and you can see that they are having a great time. What lovely people they are.
Finally, back at their hotel after a long, but exciting day together. Tomorrow we have more to come, as we prepare for our visit to the unforgettable Dingle Peninsula.
Make sure to come along.
