Scott and family on Wild Atlantic

This week i started my latest tour with my Chicago group of friends and already they are full of enthusiasm and fun. I am really looking forward to spending the next week in their company. They arrived in Galway on the 14th May and spent their first full day today in the Burren of County , and at the awesome Cliffs of Moher.
My Chicago pals pictured outside the Kinvara B&B where they are staying while in Kinvara. From the left we have Scott,Eric,Amanda,Chris,Phylis and Tony.
On their first night they attended the Medieval Banquet in the ancient Dun Guaire Castle in Kinvara, pictured here in the background, and had a really memorable evening.
Here we have Tony and Phylis at the entrance door to the castle, as they made their way into the Banquet.
Today, Wednesday, they were off to the Burren of County Clare and the awesome Cliffs of Moher. Their first stop was at the ancient historic Corcomroe Abbey, dating back to the twelfth century.
In this picture they are walking through the headstones in the cemetery, which surrounds the old abbey.

Pictured as they made their way along the coast with Galway Bay in the background, and the rocky seashore. From the left we have, Tony and Phylis, Eric, Scott, Amanda, Chris and Nancy.
Note the glorious sunshine.
Tony and Phylis enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. on the shores of Galway Bay.
Chris and Amanda at the Cliffs. Has to be seen to be believed.
Nancy and Eric so happy together in this Irish paradise, the Wild Atlantic Way.
And the Daddy of them all, Scott, daring to venture where no man has dared to venture before.
Later in the day they made their way back to Kinvara and visited my home, where they are pictured on their arrival. In this picture we have from the left, my wife Sue, Eric, Scott, Chris, Amanda, one of my top driiver/ guides, Elva, Phylis, then  Nancy and Tony.
Enjoying tea and scones in our house and looking well satisfied after what had been a beautiful sunny day in Ireland.
Tonight they were to dine together in the Pier Head restaurant on the harbour front in Kinvara. This picture was taken before the full group had arrived. From the left here we have, Amanda, Phylis, yours truly, Tony and Chris.

On Thursday we continue on our way to the south west of the country and the magical town of Killarney. our journey.

Come along and enjoy.
