Sitting on the wall at Slea Head on the Dingle peninsula in County Kerry with the Blasket Islands in the background.
My last touring companions,February 2020 before this horrible pandemic closed us down,
What a lovely tour that was, and little did we know about what lay ahead. Even as i write, i remain in that same state, but thank God there is now light at the end of the tunnel.
I myself haver received my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and will be fully vaccinated in a couple of weeks time, and ready to go shortly after that. I have been away too long, and am rearin to go again.
Onr of my favourite pictures. This old ruined famine time house overlooking the wild open Atlantic at Slea Head on the Dingle peninsula in County Kerry. This must have been an amazing place to live on a lovely Summer day, but you had to be hardy to endure the wild Winter storms at that time of the year. They were hardy hard working people who lived here, farmers and fishermen. Many of the people from here emigrated to Hungry Hill in Mass.
This is a magical place to visit.
