This picture brings back such special memories to me, as not too many years ago donkeys were a common sight in our fields, and indeed, on our roads. The donkey and cart were a most popular mode of transport for people in the rural areas, and it was common practice for the woman of the house, or indeed the man also, to use this form of transport when heading for the local village or town. Ponies were also common, and horses for larger loads. These two guys are presently located in a field very close to my home, but then i live in a rural area, and i am surrounded by cattle and sheep and horses. Now is the time for the lambs to appear, and what a lovely sight they are. So many of my US customers get excited at the sight of these animals, and it makes me appreciate all the more how fortunate i am to live where i do. Unfortunately, there are not that many donkeys around anymore, as they are of no practical use. My mother had her pet donkey as a little girl, and used to ride her to school, and she was there in a field beside the school when my mom was ready to go home again after school. Now the kids have a school bus waiting. Which do you think your kids would prefer if they had the choice today? I know which one i would choose

This is my local beach where Sue my wife swims, yes swims, every day, and there is no day that she does not have Fionn, our Golden Retriever with her, and what a swimmer he is. This photo was taken on an overcast day, but Ireland is not the Caribbean, but the Caribbean does not have what Ireland has. Come and be the judge of that yourself.

Our restrictions are virtually gone completely and we are now entering the stage which we had hoped to reach as a result of our vaccination program, but most of all because of the wonderful behavior of our people here, young and old. They were magnificent, and eventhough they found it difficult, they accepted that there was a price to pay for getting the upper hand on this pandemic. Now we have to stay that way as this virus is here, and everywhere else also, to stay. We know what we have to do to protect ourselves, and we can do that.

I am back on the road and my touring business is up and running again, and we are dealing with all the enquiries that are coming in, and which will be coming in in growing numbers as the Summer season draws closer.

There is no longer a necessity to be vaccinated before coming here and as long as you reach here free of Covid you are allowed in. All our hotels and restaurants and pubs are fully open again as are all of our entertainment events and sporting events.

Come and enjoy our magical Emerald Isle. I am awaiting your call.
