Now i had to go and spoil it.I met up with my latest group this morning for the first time at our hotel in Dublin.It was quiet evident from the word go that they were really looking forward to their Irish adventure.They had arrived yesterday morning after a brief spell in Germany and spent yesterday exploring Dublin.Now we were headed for the country and we set out after a great breakfast breakfast in the Grafton Capital Hotel for our first stop in Cashel in county Tipperary. They spent time at the great Rock of Cashel before we settled in to a lovely lunch at the Ryan's Daughter restaurant in Cashel. I have mentioned this place before as it is a favourite of mine because i love good old home cooking.We had a long drive ahead of us today to our final destination, the lovely town of Killarney. Tonight we are heading for the Liam O'Connor show in the Avenue Hotel here in Killarney and i know that they will really enjoy this program of great traditional Irish music, wonderful Irish dancing, and some lovely ballads sung by Lisa Aherne. Liam's band is also first class and make sure to get to see this show which runs through the full season here in Killarney on Tue, Wed, and Thur nights.Our weather today was lovely, very little in the way of rain, and nice and cool.
We have made a great start to what i know will be an exciting tour for my new friends.You are welcome to come along with us.
