My latest party arrived in Dublin on Tuesday, and this morning we began our tour of the West of Ireland when we left Dublin, on the East Coast, for Galway City on the Western side of Ireland. Galway is my own home town, and also my favourite Irish city. It is a most historic city, not too large, but a beautiful place to spend a couple of days.
John, Pam, Larry and Gigi, Neil, and John, Pam's husband.
We had actually arrived at the Cathedral during a visit by the Esker Youth Orchestra, who happened to be rehearsing for recital later. It was a treat, which of course i pretended to have arranged especially for my friends.Aaaah well, now they know anyway.
Tomorrow we make our way to County Mayo, and to the Shrine of Our Lady at Knock. Knock is a Holy Shrine, and a place of healing, recognised by the Vatican, which is visited by many people seeking help with many and varied problems, along with many who just come to pray. Please feel free to come along with us tomorrow, and send along with your own personal prayers.
If you need me for anything just send me an e-mail, or call me.
